Grow by leaps and bounds.
With Juno student reeds, playing is more play, less work.
Why does everyone from students to band directors love Juno reeds? Because they’re made by Vandoren from select cane grown in the Mediterranean basin, and designed with a special cut just for students. This means they help you find early success by making it easier to play your instrument from top to bottom. Juno reeds are perfect for beginners who don’t want to sound like beginners. Because let’s face it: When you sound better, playing is more fun. So get new Juno reeds, and let the fun begin.
Choosing a reed.
Know where your reeds were born.
The best sounding reeds are made from select cane. We grow ours on the Mediterranean coast, then turn them into Juno reeds with a special cut that’s designed just for students. With this kind of advanced reed design, you can see improvements in your playing skills faster than ever.
The humidity-controlling Flow Pack.
Each Juno reed comes individually packaged in our unique Flow Pack. It makes sure that when you get your reeds, they’re as fresh and untouched as the day they were made. That’s why Juno reeds sound great right out of the box.
Find the right strength for you.
It’s easy to find a Juno reed that feels good to you - and makes you sound good, too. If you’re just starting out, you may want to choose a 1 1/2 strength reed that’s more flexible and easier to play. As you get better, you may find that a stronger 3 strength reed gives you a heavier, fuller sound. With strengths of 1 ½, 2, 2 ½, and 3 for alto sax, tenor sax and Bb clarinet, you can find a Juno reed that fits your style.

Who loves new Juno reeds for students?
Band Directors love them!
If you’re a Band Director, you’ll love new Juno reeds because they help your students learn faster and sound better doing it. That’s because Juno reeds help them focus on playing their instrument, rather than learning how to get the reed to play. Your woodwind section will be making beautiful music in no time.
Parents love them!
Parents, you’ll love new Juno reeds because they help your child have success earlier and get over some of the more frustrating parts of playing a new instrument (like getting the reed to play). When kids pick up an instrument quickly, they’re more likely to stick with it for a long time. And let’s not forget how affordable Juno reeds are, too.
Students (of course) love them!
If you’re trying a new woodwind instrument, you’ll find that Juno reeds are easy to play, even on higher notes. That means that practice is easier, too. And when practice is easier, you play more - which helps you get better, faster. What’s not to love?
